Maybe it's because I've been working in Baltimore's bars and restaurants for 20+ years (including 5 at Club Charles/Zodiac), but I see the presence and influence of the gay culture constantly. Tho' not gay, I've a gay brother-in-law (and his longtime partner),two gay cousins, and many gay friends. I must take exception to the statement that Baltimore does not have much of a gay community.
